About

A Celtic community center for history, myth & folklore

Where History, Myth & Folklore Meet

Louisville’s first 501(c)(3) nonprofit Celtic Community Center, where rigorous scholarship and living folklore meet.

Our mission

Two currents of one river

Hallows Folk Hall treats rigorous scholarship and living folklore as two currents of one river. One runs through the archives, the language classes, and the archaeology. The other runs through the songs, the seasonal rites, and the stories told at the hearth.

It is a hearth for the Celtic-hearted, the myth-lovers, the Nature-spirited, and anyone curious about folklore and heritage arts.

Fáilte

Welcome to Louisville’s first 501(c)(3) nonprofit Celtic Community Center for History, Myth & Folklore.

We are working to open the doors of a physical home: a third place with heart, offering cultural programs for lifelong learning and discovery, a welcoming and inclusive spiritual sanctuary, a soulfully curated gift shop, and joyful gatherings for celebration.
